CarePro is a Minnesota 245D licensed agency offering CFSS (agency model), PCA, and a full range of home and community-based supports. Not sure which program fits? We'll help you figure it out.
CFSS — Community First Services & Supports (Agency Model)
CFSS is Minnesota's program that replaces PCA, giving participants more choice and flexibility in how their care is delivered. Under the agency-provider model, CarePro employs, trains, and manages your caregivers and handles scheduling, payroll, and compliance — so you get support without the paperwork of being an employer. We help you understand your service budget and use it well.
PCA — Personal Care Assistance
Hands-on help with the activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers, toileting, eating, and health-related tasks — plus support that helps individuals stay safe and independent at home. As Minnesota transitions PCA to CFSS, we'll guide current clients through the change with no gap in care.
Individualized Home Supports (IHS)
Support to build and maintain skills for daily living, community participation, and independence — available with training, without training, and with family training under the 245D framework, tailored to each person's goals.
Homemaker Services
Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, and errands that keep the home safe and comfortable — with or without assistance with cares.
Respite Care
Short-term, in-home relief for family caregivers so they can rest, work, or handle other responsibilities with peace of mind.
Companion Services
Companionship, supervision, and a friendly presence — conversation, activities, reminders, and accompaniment in the home and community.
24-Hour Emergency Assistance
On-call availability and a response plan for urgent needs, so support is always within reach when it matters most.
